The doneness of the chicken is perfect. The skin, however, could have been more flavorful. The sauce is definitely needed to tie the dish together. My guess is that the stall is famous for not just the chicken, but also the wanton, dumplings and noodles. The dumpling and wanton were sold out by 11.30am.
At $20 for a whole chicken and $4.50 for a drumstick rice, it is good value. I’m just not sure if it is worth the queue.
