Alaturka Mediterranean & Turkish Restaurant

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Solid choice for Mediterranean food. I am not a fan of the mezze plate per se, but the bread it comes with is truly the star of the meal. The kebab platter is really well done – the lamb chop is soft and succulent. The adana/kofte has a nice bounce and doesn’t taste anything like dried minced meat. The chicken is the one to go for – good charcoal grill hey (like wok hey) and seasoned really well.

If you like butter pastries, you will like the kunufe. The cream on the side is a nice touch to add more richness while cutting the sweetness significantly. Two minor critic – it can use a lot more cheese, and a more crispy bake.
