One of the joys of hawker food is that you can mix and match several dishes to get flavor/texture combinations that are unique and delicious. Suppose you found a wanton mee stall that uses red-dyed pork loin as char siu, order extra from a roast meat specialist next to it. That’s exactly what I did.

Xiong Kee Roast Meat’s Char Siu is dry but otherwise OK, Siu Yoke is pretty good.
