Good burger. I recommend getting 2 patties and taking 1 out to be eaten by itself. Texture-wise, the patty is juicy with a good coarse grind. It does the melt in your mouth the way a well marbled wagyu rib-eye does. Despite the robust char on the crust, the patty is cooked to a nice pinkish medium and salted really well. The beefiness reminds me of wagyu beef as well, which is distinctly different from an angus beef patty. Look, the vege is placed on the bottom and acts as a waterproofing layer for the bottom bun. For years, I have argued that plating the veg on the bottom is the key to proper burger integrity and I am glad that someone agrees.
My only complaint? The top bun is sliced too thin and bottom bun sliced too thick. Chef? Please aim for the middle next time.
Overall, a good thick-patty burger for ~$24 after GST.
